Facing Pages is a reading app for language learners. We built it to work without collecting information about you.

What we collect

Nothing. Facing Pages has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We don’t collect your name, email, location, contacts or reading history.

What stays on your device

• Your language and level choices.
• The words you save while reading.
• Translations of stories, which are made on your device by Apple’s translation feature. The story text is not sent to us.

Deleting the app deletes all of this.

Story updates

To get new stories, the app downloads the story library from our website. Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may briefly process your device’s IP address to deliver the file. We don’t use it to identify you.

Subscriptions

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. Apple tells the app only whether your subscription is active.

Children

The stories are written to be suitable for all ages, and the app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
